| We are a not-for-profit organization designed to provide you with free information and referrals to agencies that can help you. In addition to coordinating with other service agencies, AFL-CIO Community Services offer Food, Furniture, Clothes, and Rental Referral Programs. There are no eligibility requirements and no charges for the service or items received. |
The Community Clothes Closet is open to the public and offers new and donated, "gently - used" clothing and small household goods Everything is very reasonably priced. If a person is unable to pay, arrangements can be made to waive charges.
Clothes Closet is located at 1203 North 6th Street. Hours are Monday-Friday: 8 AM – 4 PM, and Saturday: 8 AM – 1 PM. Come as often as you like. Listing of other free closets or thrift store locations in the area is available. DONORS: Clothing donations are tax deductible. DONORS: Pick-up of donations is available on Tuesdays. |
