Not sure how you are going to afford a Christmas present for your child this year? Will you and your family need assistance in order to have a joyful Christmas season?
   The Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program, sponsored by AFL-CIO Community Services, can help. We sponsor a program for people in your situation. People that know they will not be able to provide Christmas for their families and individuals facing the holiday season alone.
Adoption Application Information
A
Signup begins Monday, November 14; and ends Friday. December 16.
B
Applications will be taken at the AFL-CIO Community Services Office, between 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday; and 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Friday.
C
A $2.00 application fee is required to cover the cost of processing and a thank you card to your adopters.

DO NOT BRING CHILDREN TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Bring the following documentation with you, when applying:

Social security cards

Proof of all income – print out for TANF, child support, social security benefits and wages

Current utility bills
4
Rent receipt showing your name and address and landlord’s name and phone number
5
Clothing and shoe sizes for every member of the household
6
List of any special needs such as food or household items
7
Wish list for Santa from each child (three items maximum per child)
