A	SELECTING YOUR FAMILY, OR INDIVIDUAL, OR ...
	As the adopter, you have a variety of options
1	You choose what kind of family or individual you would like to adopt. You can pick a family with children, adult individuals, or senior citizens.
2	You can adopt as many as you want, and in any combination.
3	Once you have a general idea of what type of family you are wanting, we will have you review several different families’ info sheets that fit your criteria. This can be done by fax, in person at our office, or by mail. The info sheets include everyone’s clothing and shoe sizes and their gift wish list.
4	After reviewing, you notify our agency of whom you want to adopt.
B	TO DO LIST ITEM (VERY  IMPORTANT)
	Please make your decision as quickly as possible. Those not chosen need to be placed back into the need adopted file ASAP.
C	SELECTING YOUR GIFTS
1	If adopting a family with children we ask that you provide at least one new gift for each child. If adopting a young child, preferably a toy. Giving gifts to parents is your decision. If you would like, you can also provide the family with a holiday food basket. (Please note on their application if they requested food.) If adopting an individual or a senior citizen, we ask that you provide either a gift or a food basket. It is your choice how much more you would like to provide.
2	You have the option of giving gifts, gift certificates, and/or holiday food baskets. If gifts – you shop for the gifts. (Wrapping gifts is optional.) If giving gift certificates or holiday food baskets – you can purchase from a store of your choice or purchase them through our agency. Our agency will have holiday food baskets available starting Monday, December 19, for $50.00 each.
D	DELIVERING YOUR GIFTS
1	You can make contact with your family and let them know they have been adopted. You can ask any additional info you need. You set the time and date that you will be delivering to the family
2	Or, you can remain anonymous. If you choose to be anonymous, you will need to deliver your items to our agency by Monday, December 19. We will contact the family to arrange a pickup.
E	REPORTING YOUR CHRISTMAS SPIRIT
	Once you have chosen your families, call or fax our agency and report their names. Please also have the following information:
1	What you are going to provide for them; toys, clothing, food, gift certificates, etc.
2	If supplying food, are you purchasing a food basket from our agency? Date needed?
3	If supplying gift certificates, are you purchasing them through our agency? Need dollar amount.
4	Are you delivering to the family or to the agency? Delivery date?
